| Here is a grand horse with a very good show record. No stranger to the winner’s circle in the highly competitive country pleasure division, Express has won some big classes at major shows, beating some of the best ones. This was one of trainer Mike McIntosh’s favorites, and he was a favorite of mine to work at home. He’s now earning his living teaching riders the finer points of equitation at Sugar Knoll Farm in Ohio.
Shown here with former owner Marianne Gauger, Express also is an absolute star in country pleasure driving. You can see how gorgeous Express is in harness on the "Show Horses" page -- in his last two shows with us he's finished reserve grand champion in some very nice, well-filled classes.
Shelley Fischer, trainer/instructor at Sugar Knoll, reports that Express is widely adored by her students – as well as by Shelley, a world-champion-producing instructor. No doubt Express will help develop some future equitation champions at Shelley’s! Congratulations!
