Welcome to Dream Acres LLC! Our farm name reflects that this operation was a long-held dream and, now that it’s a reality, it is a dream come true.

We raise and show American Saddlebred horses in all disciplines and focus our efforts on showing in Saddlebred classes at Saddlebred shows. Whether it’s traditional saddle seat, western, driving or hunt seat, the horse gets to choose the job. We believe that every horse should have a job he likes, and that it’s our job to help them excel at it, rather than trying to “force” the horse to be something that isn’t right for him.

We raise our foals with the utmost of care, from selection of breeding stock to foaling out to early handling. We want our babies to grow up to be useful horses, whether their careers are in the show ring or as a pleasure mount. We do expect them to be good citizens. They learn that people can be trusted, and in turn we teach them good manners so trainers are happy to work with them and won’t have to spend valuable time trying to overcome bad habits. We feel our colts are just that much further along from the get-go – and have the best chance of making a good account of themselves – no matter what their future jobs might be.

We are proud of the horses we raise, show and sell … and take great pride in the successes of our “graduates.” We also enjoy boarding special horses for special people – and we cater to each resident’s individual needs.
